Mike is originally from Casa Grande Arizona, but lived in Alaska, Spain, and Okinawa, Japan before settling in Colorado. While he graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, he earned his clinical experience in the United States Navy Physician Assistant program. Mike has been a provider for 44 years, spending the past 24 years practicing Geriatrics in the Denver area. Mike’s mother’s experience with Alzheimer’s disease – and her clinicians’ lack of understanding of the disease – inspired Mike to provide the kind of care that every senior deserves. Mike appreciates that practicing at Bloom allows him to deliver real Geriatric Medicine to the frailest members of our community. He feels that the values of the company are demonstrated by every member of the Bloom team. In Mike’s spare time, he enjoys playing golf, spending time outdoors, and playing with his dogs.
