Lucia earned her dual Master’s degree in Family and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Colorado State University–Pueblo in 2025. Her clinical background includes years of experience in intensive care, medical-surgical telemetry, and long-term care.
Having cared for many patients in a hospital setting, she is drawn to home-based primary care due to the opportunity to work with patients in their own environments, alongside their families and within their daily routines. She values Bloom’s model of relationship-centered care and is very excited to help reduce barriers and prevent avoidable hospitalizations. She believes that caring for patients in their homes promotes trust, dignity, and deeper clinical insight that cannot be replicated in traditional settings.
In her spare time, she enjoys long walks with her husky, hiking, camping, and spending quality time with her husband and two little ones.
