Emily was born and raised in Lexingtion, KY, and has lived in Colorado for the past 16 years. She received her Family Practitioner Degree from Frontier Nursing University and has been a provider since 2018. Emily went into medicine in order to improve health outcomes and be an advocate for patients in time of needs. She is passionate about helping people in a kind, compassionate way, as she believes it’s vital to meet people where they’re at in their journey and help educate and empower patients and families along the way. She values evidenced-based guidelines and creating a shared decision-making relationship between herself and her patients. Emily enjoys working at Bloom because of the strong values the team upholds and the quality of care the team provides. She feels it is a great honor to be part of a collaborative effort in providing innovative care to vulnerable patients. In her spare time, Emily likes to hike and mountain bike with her husband and Labrador. She also enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants in the Denver area.
