Jenny is a native Texan and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Journalism. She went on to complete a year of volunteer service as an Americorps VISTA in Casper, Wyoming. Inspired by the nurses she worked with at the health department in Casper, she decided to pursue a career in nursing and later graduated from the University of Colorado with her Bachelors in Nursing in 2008 and her Masters in Nursing with a specialization in primary care for adults and geriatrics in 2023. Jenny has worked in a variety of areas including surgical telemetry, cardiac rehabilitation, preop, and recovery. Outside of her professional life, Jenny enjoys spending time with her husband and son, as well as baking, reading, and training for endurance events.
