Ed is originally from Flushing, Queens, New York. Ed received his BSN and MSN at the University of Colorado and has been an RN for 5 years. Ed went into medicine because he loves the science and is fascinated by all aspects of biology. Additionally, he wishes to help individuals in their healthcare journey and understand what the individual is experiencing and how they are experiencing their current situation. He seeks to understand what his patients expectations are and works to help them achieve their goals. Ed is very passionate about geriatric health and takes an integrative approach to medicine, seeking to learn from each individual, their life experience and how it affects their current health.
In his free time, Ed loves to ski, read, and cook, especially on his new pizza oven and smoker that he is excited to experiment with. Ed appreciates the respect that Bloom has for the patients and understanding that the patients’ perspective and to properly integrate and balance the patients’ needs with appropriate medical care.
