Dr. Real is an internal medicine and hospice physician dedicated to providing exceptional home hospice care. She views guiding patients and their loved ones through the end-of-life journey as a profound privilege, focusing her practice on maximizing comfort, preserving dignity, and enhancing quality of life. Dr. Real earned her medical degree from the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York before completing her Internal Medicine residency at UC San Diego. She began her specialized career in hospice care on the Big Island of Hawaii, where she dedicated 10 years to supporting families in their homes. Now practicing in the Texas Hill Country, Dr. Real is honored to return to her roots in home hospice care, bringing a decade of deep clinical experience and a heartfelt commitment to the local community. Outside of her medical practice, she is an avid bike racer, loves traveling with her husband, and is passionate about rescuing dogs.
