Kathy is a Colorado native and has over twenty-eight years of healthcare experience. She obtained a BA in Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz and a Master’s in Nursing / Adult-Gero NP as well as a Nursing Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado. She was attracted to medicine to help patients and families cope with illness and she’s passionate about advocating for and educating patients and families so their needs are met and align with their goals. She enjoys working at Bloom because she’s part of a team that addresses the needs of a population that cannot easily leave their homes to receive medical attention. Outside of work, Kathy enjoys yoga, water coloring, and any adventure with her husband and kids.
