Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Methodist University before advancing her education at Maryville University, where she obtained her Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner. She has been credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2017, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Sarah is passionate about home-based primary care because it offers a level of insight and connection that simply cannot be replicated in a traditional clinical setting. Caring for patients in their own homes provides a more complete understanding of their daily lives, environments, and unique challenges. This setting allows her to build stronger, more personal relationships while identifying both the strengths patients rely on and the barriers that may impact their health.
She is particularly drawn to Bloom’s model of care for its strong reputation in improving the health and well-being of seniors and homebound patients. The organization’s emphasis on individualized care and patient empowerment aligns closely with her own philosophy, especially in promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
Outside of her professional role, Sarah is a proud mother of two energetic young boys who keep life adventurous. She enjoys exploring new places with them and creating meaningful experiences as a family. Whether it’s discovering somewhere new or spending a day outdoors, she values making the most of their time together. This summer, fishing has claimed the top spot on their list of favorite activities—apparently, patience is easier to teach when snacks are involved.
