Laura Miller is a board-certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner who began her nursing training at Texas Christian University. She graduated with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked as a cardiac-telemetry nurse for several years. Laura went on to earn a Master’s in Science and Nursing degree from the Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Colorado Anshutz Medical campus. She has acted as a primary care provider in both outpatient and home based settings focusing on dementia, end-stage disease processes and hospice. Laura’s goal is to advocate for her patients so that they have the resources and strength to pursue what is meaningful to them in life. When Laura isn’t treating patients, she enjoys reading, sewing and traveling with her husband.
