As a Colorado native, Katie left the state to attend school at the University of St. Augustine in Florida. After suffering from an injury when she was younger, she vividly remembers the love and care provided by her nurses and was determined to return that love and care to others. She is passionate about making her small part of the world better through acts of kindness and using her education to help care for others. In her free time, Katie enjoys camping in the mountains or spending time on her boat on Lake McConaughy. Katie enjoys working with her stellar colleagues at Bloom and the ability to keep her patients in their homes where they can remain comfortable while being cared for.
