Irene earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and recently completed her Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) program at the University of Colorado. She is board-certified through the AANP and has a strong clinical background as a registered nurse in acute care and float pool settings, caring for diverse and complex patient populations. Her training has emphasized evidence-based practice, chronic disease management, and patient-centered care.
Irene is drawn to home-based primary care because it allows her to meet patients where they are and provide more personalized, holistic care. Bloom’s model aligns with her passion for improving access and outcomes for underserved and complex patients. She finds it especially meaningful to build stronger relationships and see firsthand how patients live, which helps tailor care more effectively.
Irene is originally from Spain and speaks fluent Spanish, which allows her to connect with a broader patient population. She enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and staying active through walks and fitness. She also values time with family and love experiencing different cultures through food and travel.
