Taylor is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who has always had a passion for caring for people, especially those with complex medical needs. She earned her BSN from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls and her MSN from The University of Texas at Arlington. She started her nursing career in the ICU before becoming a nurse practitioner in nephrology critical care at UTSW. In 2022, she made the transition to geriatrics, where she has truly enjoyed getting to know her patients and caring for them as a whole—not just treating their medical conditions.
She believes good healthcare starts with listening. She strives to make her patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable while providing thoughtful, compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. Building relationships with patients and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of what she does, which is why she loves partnering with Bloom. Outside of work, she is a wife and mom of two, so family is a big part of her life. When she’s not working, she’ll usually be found cooking, planning the next family trip (likely exploring the New England states), or cheering on the Dallas Stars!
