Sara is an Arkansas native, and she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2005 and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012. Throughout her career, Sara has served a variety of healthcare settings, including primary care, acute care, home-based care, and leadership roles. These diverse experiences have strengthened her commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality care while collaborating closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Sara believes exceptional care begins with relationships. She is passionate about getting to know her patients beyond their medical conditions and partnering with them and their families to develop care plans that reflect their personal goals, values, and priorities. She is drawn to home-based care and Bloom Healthcare as she values understanding individual needs, collaboration, open communication, and treating every patient with compassion, dignity, and respect through every stage of their healthcare journey. Sara lives in Texas with her husband and their three children. Outside of work, they enjoy experiencing new adventures together, traveling, attending their children’s sporting events, and spending time with their church community.
