Megan was raised in a small town in Iowa. She has wanted to be in the medical field since she was young, with a constant drive for helping people “get better”. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from St. Olaf College, and her master’s degree in Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Colorado-Denver School of Nursing. Megan has been a geriatric nurse practitioner for 12 years, and is passionate about providing individualized, high quality healthcare in the comfort of her patient’s home. She enjoys working for Bloom because its model better supports patients at home and allows her to spend the time needed caring for older adults. Megan’s hobbies include hiking, playing sports, and being outside with her husband and three children.
