Kaitlyn began her career as an ER/trauma nurse, where she witnessed firsthand the consequences of gaps in primary care. These experiences shaped her commitment to a proactive approach to care focused on prevention, continuity, and truly listening. Kaitlyn partners with each patient in their care and views her role not just as a provider, but as a resource, offering her education and experience to support informed decision-making. She prioritizes whole-person care, recognizing the importance of physical and mental health as well as each patient’s sense of well-being, purpose, and spirit.
Kaitlyn earned her degree from Grand Canyon University, with additional degrees from Mercer University and the University of Kentucky. She is board-certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and continues to expand her knowledge to better serve her patients.
She is drawn to home-based primary care because it allows her to meet patients where they are and better understand their health in the context of their daily lives, including barriers to care. She values Bloom’s model of care for its emphasis on accessibility, relationship-building, and proactive support. Caring for patients in their homes allows her to provide more personalized, meaningful care that can improve outcomes.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys hiking and off-roading with her husband and two dogs, gardening, and strength training. She is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne School, an experience that reflects her resilience, discipline, and commitment to personal growth.
