Chris is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of healthcare experience. She holds a BA in Journalism (UT-Austin), a BS in Nursing (UT-Arlington), and an MSN from the University of Cincinnati.
She enjoys developing relationships with each of her patients and families, and prefers to connect with them in their homes so she learn more about their personal lives and history. She honors her patients’ choices and provides evidence-based management of their health conditions, delivered with a warm, personal touch.
Chris likes to walk her dog early in the mornings to keep tabs on the local wildlife, and enjoys visiting state and national parks with her husband. She is always working on her Life List, sighting and identifying local and migrating birds. Volunteering with her church for special events and meals keeps her engaged with her community and the needs of her neighbors. She and her husband have three children.
