Genny Cassel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in geriatrics and chronic disease management. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Post-Master’s Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner from Hawaii Pacific University, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Genny chose home-based primary care because treating patients in their own environment provides a comprehensive, authentic understanding of their daily lives and support systems. This insight enables her to fully leverage Bloom’s proactive, highly coordinated, and holistic model of medicine. Ultimately, she finds the greatest professional fulfillment in empowering homebound seniors to age in place safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
Outside of her professional role, Genny loves spending time with her family, trying new foods, and hiking to explore nature. Having recently relocated from Hawaii to Colorado, she fondly remembers her time spent at the beach and now looks forward to exploring the beautiful mountain landscape.
