Emily has 10 years of experience in federal policymaking, with a focus on Medicare, value-based care, and care for seriously ill populations. As VP of Innovation, Emily oversees Bloom Healthcare’s participation in federal value-based care models, including the ACO REACH model, with the goal of improving quality of care and outcomes for patients while lowering healthcare costs. Emily also leads Bloom’s federal advocacy for policies and programs that can support high-quality home-based care.
Prior to her role with Bloom, Emily worked at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, where she supported the Center’s primary care model portfolio and led development of a new dementia-care-focused model. Previously, Emily held roles at the Advisory Board Company and the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC).
